Linda's Story
Just glad to be above ground. After hs took in AVJC for a year and then attended UC Santa Barbara where I got a teaching credential. Used that for 2 years in Long Beach CA and then went to work in Social Welfare dept of LA county. Married in '69, had a son, moved to Santa Clara CA and had a daughter. Divorced in '80, stayed single, worked for Pacific Bell for 20 years, retired and went to work as Adult Education teacher for 8 years. Fully retired now, spen...Expand for more
ding time with my sweetie of 15 years and my adorable grandsons, 11, 8.and 4. The picture is of my daughter and grandsons and me at a San Jose Sharks hockey game 5 years ago(great fan of hockey - a logical choice of sport for someone raised in a hot CA desert, don't you agree?). Just had a hip replacement - we are in the patch, patch, patch years of our lives it would seem. At least I'm older than my house but we need just about the same amount of repairs.
